I may be educated
but sometimes I am not a smart man.
I may have 20/20 vision
but sometimes cannot see the things in front of me.
I may be able to hear pretty well
but sometimes miss the meaning.
I may be a nice person
but should sometimes take a stand.
I wish I was perfect
but this is who I am.

en to paper holds so much meaning,
Such a healing process…
Spew it out onto the pages
feel it flow from the ink tipped pen;
Show the world how you feel.

One foot in front of the other
Keeping pace with an internal drum
Head down, head strong.
Healing steps.
Moving with no destination,
with no direction
Only walking. And thinking.

I want to be everything for you.
And I try, so [...]

My head throbs behind my eyes;
Glass shattering again and again.
Sharp explosions of light
and flashes of heat.
Eyes close, squint tight
trying to shut out the pain.

Rain on a Monday,
Bleak weather for a bleak day;
Should have stayed in bed.

Why do you talk like that?
I don’t know.
Why do you look like that?
I don’t know.
Why do you act like that?
I don’t know.
Don’t you know anything.
I know I don’t like you.
Well, that’s a start.

What are you doing down there?
Looking.
Looking for what?
Something I lost.
When did you last have it?
A while ago.
Where was [...]
