| The Story Behind This Watch |
I wanted a TAG Heuer Super Professional. I ended up buying a Seamaster Professional instead. Was I sad about this? Hell no.
I kept missing out on the TAG Heuer at the time, I think three ended up selling for more than I had. It seems that since the last time I checked prices had risen on the TAG. So it was a bit out of my reach. But, I kept looking. Day after day, checking each and every sales forum I could find. Suddenly, this beauty popped up and it was one of those, “Why didn’t I think of that sooner!” moments. I quickly snapped this one up.
The head (case, crystal) were in fine shape, damn near mint. The bracelet looked a bit worse for the wear. But, with a little work it now looks great, just a few marks on the clasp and that’s it. I’m very, very happy with this one. It’s a watch that I have wanted for some time and I am quite pleased to now own one. The next step (or a future step) is it’s GMT cousin. One day…
