| The Story Behind This Watch |
The watch that got away, then came back. I had technically lost the auction for this one in the last few seconds, much to my disappointment. I was beaten by a mere $2.00 – two dollars! So, I slumped off to the PMWF to sulk and then off to bed. The next morning, to my pleasure, was an email in my inbox from the seller stating that the winning bidder had retracted his bid and could not pay – the watch was mine for $122 (plus $8.00 shipping)!! I pounced without hesitation and snatched it up.
The watch is in good condition from a cosmetic standpoint. Some scratches and marks, but nothing major. It ran great the first 10 months or so, then it suddenly stopped working. So, off for a quick spa treatment and it’s good as new.
