| The Story Behind This Watch |
This watch was an ordeal. I bought it off eBay, which can be risky, yes, but the seller had a pretty good profile so I took a chance. Once I got the watch it did not work and I had to send it back. The second one did (does) work, but now the problem is that I don’t like it and it doesn’t work well.
The chronograph does not keep accurate time as it runs fast, making it about worthless. I discovered this while stuck on a commuter train. The conductor said that it would X number of minutes so I wanted to time him. After a while (about 20 minutes) I looked at the watch and it said we had been there for over 30. So at a later date I started it and my Citizen at the same time and sure enough. Also, and I don’t know why I did this, but I really don’t care for watches that don’t have the date, and despite the sellers description, this watch does not have a “calendar”. The one neat thing is that it is solar powered so just sitting around in the daylight charges the watch.
