| The Story Behind This Watch |
Here’s one that I liked as soon as I saw it, but never had the stones to pull the trigger on one. Not sure why, but I waited and waited. Finally, after clearing some pieces back in July/August I opted to pull the trigger on one. Damn. Why did I wait? This is one impressive watch. It is nice and big without being huge, and it’s really, well, it’s cool looking!
My one beef is with the dual time zone; first it only sets one direction, so if you want to go back an hour, you have to rotate it all the way around. Minor, granted, but it would have been slick to have it go back and forth. Also, the later you get in the hour the more likely you’ll have to adjust it again at the top of the hour as it does not catch the change. And, it would have been nice if more of the cities listed on the inner bezel were more recognizable. Again, minor, since I won’t use most of them. Very nice piece, I must say, and I am sure it will not be my last Hamilton.
